  • Located just 50km from Geneva airport, Samoëns is easily accessible, even for a short weekend break. Although slightly more frequent in the winter, airport transfer companies offer numerous services between Geneva airport and Samoëns.
  • From Geneva, take the A40 Autoroute in the direction of Chamonix and leave at exit 18, Cluses Scionzier. Follow signs through Cluses for Morzine and Samoëns.
  • Trains operate regularly from Geneva to Cluses, after which a taxi is required for the final 20km.
  • There is a bus service which operates between Geneva airport and Samoëns.

Samoëns is part of the Grand Massif, with over 265km of marked pistes. The new Grand Massif Express cable car takes you from the edge of the village, up to the start of the main skiing at 1600m.

We had a lovely time in Samoëns. It's a really beautiful village with so much character. We got in plenty of skiing and the addition of Christmas snow was a bonus. Your apartment is very well equipped, with plenty of cooking equipment, cutlery, crockery and glasses. Sometimes you read a description and the actual does not live up to it, but yours does. It is a warm and cosy apartment with plenty of space. You also have good storage space, which meant we weren't tripping over shoes and bags all week. We liked the fact that town was only a few minutes walk, just a quick stroll for the early morning bread!
